Writing posts specific to holidays, or even creating a whole blog dedicated to a single holiday is a great way to spice up any blog. From Christmas and Thanksgiving to the more obscure holidays like Boxing Day and Flag Day, there are always plenty of opportunities to blog about holidays.
Just check your calendar and more thank likely you will find that there is at least one holiday out there coming up. If you have a theme relating to a craft or hobby, then it is a simple stretch to mingle the two.
Or you could just SEO optimize all of your posts and take all the fun out of it. Either way, do what you think is best.
